Typically for a draft, we will draft 3 rounds live in one night, with a thread leading up to the draft for GMs on the clock to post who they are picking if they already know to help the process go faster. The rest of the draft gets auto-picked.
Drafts will usually consist of the following: 0-3 superstar players 5-10 more with all-star potential ~20 more with a good shot of starting in the majors, should they fill their talents ~30 fringe or bench players/MLB caliber relievers The rest will be players that will probably need boosts to be any good at the MLB level.
Again, this will vary on a year-by-year basis, and will usually involve a dice roll of some kind to determine how good the next class is, but this is what you can generally expect when trading for picks.
